Consultant really happy with my foot. No more bandage just single dressing and toe splint for next 4 weeks. Still with shoe and crutches. So 13 days post op on my right foot... The consultant was really happy with my foot. No more bandage just single dressing and toe splint for next 4 weeks. Still with shoe and crutches. Some bruising but not as much as I thought. Dressing can be changed weekly. Stitches will dissolve. He snipped a couple. Follow up with x-ray in 4 weeks. Asked about my other foot. He said he can review this with me and keep me on his list so I don't need another referral from GP. Would do 4-6 mths after right foot so I'll definitely consider it I think?!! He seemed pleased with how it was so that's good
