Has anyone had nerve conduction test?

Has anyone had nerve conduction test? First of all I’ve had foot pain for years dealing with plantar fasciitis. I get flare ups from time to time from overuse but it’s manageable. In November I broke my fifth metatarsal. Spent 8 weeks in a boot. Just now getting around well. Now I get this weird tingling sensation in my arch. Dr recommended a nerve conduction test. It’s expensive and was hoping to get some insight on how it works. Anyone familiar with?

Former Farmers agent, DON’T do it! Company is volatile and inconsistent. Independent agencies are the way to go!
