I am 4 weeks + 1 day PO.

I am 4 weeks + 1 day PO. I had lapiplasty on NYE. Today i graduated to a boot. I feel great so far. And am excited to get moving again. The hardest part of all this for me has been being entirely dependent. My husband has been AMAZING. I am hoping to get in a tennis shoe in two weeks. I have included pics for you. I followed my docs instructions and took the pain meds. I am in MO, USA.

You are so right! I am 1 week PO today. Being so dependent has been very difficult. I have 5 more weeks NWB. My hubby has been incredible. Glad you’re doing well. Just curious, anybody have dogs? How are they reacting? Mine are very anxious.

my little rat terrier has been pretty much glued to me. I also have a lab/pit mix and he’s been anxious, restless and pacing back and forth. My poor baby just doesn’t understand. He’s sleeping next to me now.

it is amazing how they want to take care of us
