I have had heel spurs with plantar fasciitis under both feet for 20 months now. I have tried a night splint, 8 shockwave treatments, 5 osteopath visits, orthopedic insoles, stretching and strengthening exercises (including with a ball), cooling, and massage devices. Nothing helps; I am at my wit's end. Do you have any tips? Or good stories, because I am afraid this will never go away. I am a young woman of 29.

I saw some where in the group comments about copper supplements or copper peptides. I chose the copper peptides.

One dose of the copper peptide I woke up pain free. Not even joking. I took another dose this week. I just don't want it coming back. It's an anti-inflammatory, and a healing agent.

I dealt with this for 6 years. By what you have written, you're not allowing your feet to heal. Stop stretching your fascia and sleeping in splints. Do reverse stretching on your foot, stretch the top of your foot, not the bottom.

Community comment#4

Cut out all sugar and go on an anti inflammatory diet.

Dr. Eric Berg on YouTube did more for me than any podiatrist I ever saw.

Hi do you know if you have a high arch (cavus foot) or normal arch or flatter foot?

I suffered with this for almost 6 years before finding relief. I

I havent got it anywhere near as bad as you but what I have found has helped so far is increasing vitamin supplements for what I feel is needed for my lifestyle.....taping method on the foot 24/7( this helps so much) Massage gun morning noon and night and in-between if feel needed.....massage of the feet with castor oil in between the taping been done.....calf drops and also general leg excersize to strengthen the whole legs. For footwear ive tried all sorts but had to use whats best for me which us sketchers bob trainers, taking the insoles out and replace with steppers insoles .... hope yoj find some sort of releif soon xx

Rub your feet before sleeping with castor oil . Do a light massage on your feet and put a sock 🧦 on . Works for me !

So sorry you are going through this. I have had PF for about 4 years, and when it was at its worst I felt like you do, hopeless and exhausted. I very nearly gave up activities that I love, I could not take the pain. I did two rounds of extracorporeal shockwave and while it hasn’t cured my PF, each round has helped, but it has taken time and a lot of other changes to start being manageable. I’ve changed shoes, I wear orthotics everywhere, shower with supportive flip flops, wear Birkenstocks with socks inside the house, stretch and use a massage gun, foam roll my calves, roll my feet with a golf ball, do strengthening exercises, and have had dry needling done. Each time I tried something new I felt like it didn’t make much difference, but I am finally starting to feel like all these little changes are adding up to some real relief within the last year. All of that to say, don’t give up, keep working on finding relief and don’t be discouraged if you don’t feel like something helps right away! Wish you the best

take magnesium. take b12. take vitamin d. use CBD and magnesium lotion for inflammation. but work boots. ankle support to stop the supination/overpronation. it's probably in how ur walking now due to years of pain. my life changed with chinook wildwood boots. after 6 years I can work all day on my feet and be fine at night.

Look into Radio Frequency Ablation. It’s the only thing that fixed my feet. I had it done 1.5 years ago and my feet still feel great. I just went on a 3 week holiday and walked anywhere from 10k-25k steps a day and was pain free. I also lost weight over the last year which I think helped as well.

Its tearing. If not fixed it gets worse. Wear compression socks look up plantar fascitis feet on Amazon it shows this thing that helps see my posts also

I'm so sorry to hear you've been walking around with this for 5 years; that is my terrible nightmare. Are these pills of liquid serums that you apply to the soles of your feet? I hope you get relief 🙌❤️

thank you Peptides are an injection (Stomach or thigh) the other are pills. I am an over achiever and tired or the dreaded pain I chose the peptides I did one injection about three weeks ago and did another one this week I looked up all my information online and looked at all the reviews

And my husband is also now pain free. A few weeks after I took my copper peptide, he said I want some of that copper (GHK-Cu)

I have high rigid arches. Left foot only. Running lots of miles triggered mine 15 months ago, trying literally all the things, consistent lower body strengthening, rolling foot on ice bottle cortisone shots, oofos, new balance 1080s, cutting out sugar, koprez sleeve, orthotics, massage gun, night splint. The next thing on table is shockwave (not covered by insurance) but I’m so scared to throw even more money at this without guarantee of successful outcome. I just want to run and not be in pain after

OK, so that’s gonna be a bit different to me. I’ve got plantar fasciitis with a high arch. The latest shoes I got are really amazing and the store assistant said to me that a plantar fasciitis foot really does need a structured supportive shoe. I’m really not sure if the same shoes are gonna benefit us but I got the asics GT 1000 leather and from wearing the most of yesterday a lot of my pain is a tad lower. What kind of shoes are you wearing?

i just walk. I had a week where i wasnt able to move much and pain virtually went away however not feasible i love and need my walks. They told me strictly no running until a month of no pain. so that might not be helping. Its hard, does it hurt during the run ir just after? Or first thing in the morning too? Such a frustrating thing i get it

I'm so sorry to hear that you've been dealing with this for 6 years. This is truly terrible. I also assume it's serious and that it will never go away... I'm also afraid that I'll never get my old life back. Thanks for all the tips, and hopefully you'll be pain-free soon

How terrible to hear that you have had to walk around with this for 4 years. Thank you for the encouraging words. I will keep my spirits up, even though it is very difficult. I hope you will be pain-free soon

Tiger balm helps me i rub it on in the mornings and b4 bed helps me best $5 I ever spent

Community comment#46

Focus on your PF. Your spurs are most likely not causing your pain.

I had a guy come into the pharmacy I work at. He told me yo take Vitamin B6 for it. He said get it at the health food store. I have been taking it for about 4 days. I do feel some relief. I have also been taking glucosamine with chondrition (sp?) and MSM as well.

Community comment#48

You have to have surgery to get the bone spurs off the heel. They have to cut in office like they did me. But feet still hurt

Community comment#49

I work as a recovery nurse, which means I also work with the orthopedist who performs surgeries on patients who have completed their treatment. He told me to stop everything I was doing and to buy a pair of good running shoes to give my plantar fascia a rest and to wear them consistently every moment of the day so that it can heal. No massage, stretching, shockwave therapy, or expensive insoles. Often it is a tear or overuse of the plantar fascia, and the only thing that works is rest!! This can take up to a year, so then look for the cause. Stop treating the symptoms; it only costs money. I am doing this now, and I must say, it is finally getting better, my pain is so much better!! It just takes patience and time. ❤️
