As horrible as it is..it will resolve and eventually go away. Ortho doctor told me average is 9-12 mos. For me i had it SEVERE in the left foot. Had to stop all my workout yoga/ Pilates classes, daily hikes, everytime i tried to start back up, flared up worse. HORRIBLE. After 14 mos.. Gone …and I did EVERYTHING…nothing really helped all that much Then after 6 weeks or normal feet…..it flared up in my right foot — 7 mos intermittent, this time i am doing massage, stretch, KT tape and isometric loading.. pain is rarely above a 2 and i am having pain free days mixed in. This week I walked or hiked 3-5 miles per day, back to baseline by morning. There is no quick fix. Doctor and other health professionals told me anything surgical is a 50/50 shot and almost all create more and new foot problems and pain. Hang in there

I’ve had plantar fasciitis and a heel spur for 10 months despite steroid injections, B12 injections, and shockwave therapy. I still can’t go back to the gym or Zumba and it’s very frustrating. Has anyone tried plantar fascia embolization or PFE?

Rigid foot taping helped me. A couple months of rigid tape. Then a couple months of flexible kinesiology tape. Drink quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil each day and I take high strength omega 3 gelcaps, turmeric and vitamin D3 supplements. I also went healthy Keto lifestyle. 10 months and my foot is much better than it was.
I would definitely not cut off the only blood supply to your PF.
I had a spur on back of foot. Had it removed and slight tendon release. Took awhile healing up but removing bone spur really helped. Foot doc did surgery in office.
If that was the case there wouldn't be people up who said they had it for years, I'm glong on a Lil over a year, and it very frustrating now it in both feet, I wear brooks I think it made it worst, and stretch, I been thinking about the prp shot , or tenex
Obviously these people don’t have a clue. Go to Dr. Golowa in Manhattan. The best!!

You have no knowledge of what you speak.
if they are talking about burning blood vessels then yes I wouldn’t do that.
They use an antibiotic that crystallizes for a short period of time. Just enough time to let the inflammation stop. I am a renal avm survivor. When my artery exploded inside my kidney they had to use the method you mentioned. I am very well versed on vascular medicine.
