I've never had foot issues.

I've never had foot issues. After about a year of working at Chick Fil A my feet started hurting. I figured it was because I was using cheap Walmart shoes for the past year. I've recently heard it could be peri menopause. I'm 47. My heel hurts into my ankle. I also get radiating pain in my heel, ankle, balls of my feet and sometimes into my calf after a shift at work. I love working there and don't want to quit, but I'm scared it coul Shared post Rebecca Hilliard I’m hoping I don’t have to row back on this but I feel I’ve had a result….I’ve just spent 2+ weeks completely resting. And I mean really resting. I know I’m lucky to have the chance to do that but I’ve been able to do fewer than 500 steps a day. I did the strengthening exercises (plus some for hips/thighs) multiple times a day. I always had an arch support on when walking barefoot (big band of elastic with arch pad). Result: last 3 mo Shared post Kim Usher My lower back went a few weeks ago, probably from walking so funny because of my foot, so I was given some anti-inflammatory painkillers. I have breaks in between taking them, but just wanted to share that whenever they're in my system I don't feel a single niggle from my foot pain. I'm on naproxen and nefopam, no idea which one is helping but one of them is! I had to stop work. I have had prp injection, shock wave treatment and cortisone. Nothing worked. I had a mri in march and then in July and there has been no change. As I am not working and have rested it. I can walk around house for a few hours to cook and house work. With no pain. Then I started water aerobics in 4’ of water building an invigorating routine. I have worked up to deep water aerobics and my PF foot and joint pain elsewhere has reduced over 50%. Shared post Shaneen Lyon Calvo If you’ve plateaued in your healing and can’t seem to stretch out those last little vestiges of PF pain, a percussion massager (I think) did the trick for me. I went almost 2 years with PF that included being “healed” after about a year, only to experience two micro-tears after starting to run again - putting me out for another year. Two years of trying almost everything to get my foot back to normal. After it started to feel more like an ache or a bruise instead of a shar No photo description available. Shared post Pallavi Sinha Sharing my experience in case it helps someone else. About 2 years ago, I had pain in my right heel. I went to physio, did calf, hip and hamstring stretches, and got a custom insole. Thankfully, the pain went away, although I continued wearing the insole. Last year, my left heel started hurting, and gradually the pain spread through my entire left leg. At times, it was extreme. I tried the same exercises, toe spacers, splint socks ,— feeling optimistic. Shared post 3 days ago 3 days ago 4 days ago 4 days ago 4 days ago 4 days ago 4 days ago Learn More 5 days ago
