When do the scars stop feeling sore?

When do the scars stop feeling sore? I’m trying to massage them as suggested by the consultant, but they are still tender to touch and I can almost feel where the screw head is. I’m exactly 7 weeks post op (MIS akin osteotomy) Victoria Rose Baxter Good morning Folks. And today the sun shines after months of rain. If your in the USA I expect you've got the white stuff and plenty of it from what I'm reading. Well I said I'd give a progress report. I'm now day 5 post op. I can wriggle my toes a tad easier now, and the foot does not feel so solid. Keeping high elevated all day on the support cushion whi h I purchased from good ol Amazooooon Buffy Baylis Because I have a painful bunion on my right foot, the only shoes I can wear are the giant clunky Brooke's tennis shoes (Ghost Max 3s). Those shoes don't go with anything except for leggings. I know this sounds shallow but I've lost my confidence and I don't feel attractive anymore.
