It Maybe acting up due to the gout which likely caused you to change your walking pattern. When this happens over time, a compensation occurs that often times brings up problems in a different area. Let me know if that makes sense.

Hey everyone, need some advice , I suffer from gout and plantar fasciitis, but recently I’ve suffered a kind of injury on the side of my foot on the pinky toe joint. I initially I thought it might be gout, but it doesn’t throb at night or anything, so now I think it might be a bunionette aka “Tailor’s bunion” …. Does anyone have any experience with this? I’ve had it near constantly for months , and seems to swell up once a week or so.

Go to podiatrist to get hard skin rubbed off and then maintain yourself with foot pumice stone. Helped me loads and never came back.
It looks very early stages of a tailors bunion. I’ve just had surgery to remove both of mine. Make sure you get shoes that fit correctly and don’t pinch the area. I would recommend seeing a podiatrist. Early intervention can really help prevent you needing surgery down the line.
That is early stages of a tailors bunion. They can get much worse
Yes—your foot is now wider so might be that your shoes are now too small…with wider shoes it may stop hurting?
I suggest to see family doctor at first to diagnose and exclude…. Good health
I have one on each foot. Worse than that, I have to pick shoes that are wider and my insoles from the doc wear out where they sit, they can be extremely painful without the insoles
I have a very small Tailor’s bunion. It was getting very, very painful. One doctor told me that I could have surgery if it really bothers me. Another doctor said that it really seems to be the tendon that is hurting me. I was very very surprised. He gave me an injection that was very, very helpful.
Yes I discovered I'd one about year ago x I also have foot problems like yourself
As regards the tailors bunion, is there any time when the pain subsides.
thank you so much , I’ve always suspected an improper walking gait. However I’m pleased to report that the swelling and inflammation has almost disappeared, since I decided to follow a diet of mainly just meat and vegetables. I’ve cut down on carbs and sugar dramatically , and lost 7 kg. I’m actually very surprised that this has been so effective in dealing with this issue.
it seems deeper than skin tho …
Yes. I have one on each foot. I have to wear shoes with arch support. It’s very painful
