What surgery did u have that you could hop out of the hospital bed. My doctors never would allow that.

You had Tailor's bunion done too? I can't find anyone who does it that doesn't require 6-8 weeks NWB, in my area.

i was told 6-8 weeks NWB, then when the surgeon came to see me after surgery it went so well he suggested it would be 3 weeks. He confirmed that i could start taking steps at 3 weeks PO when i saw him at my 1 week post op appt. I am now 3 weeks and 4 days post op and walking on my foot in my surgery shoe.

Hii!! Congratulations!! What is the pain level like? What type of doctor did the surgery? I had my last one done by a podiatrist and was told later on that I shouldn't have let a podiatrist do the surgery....

hi, yes! Thank you! I think if you click on my page you can see the history of my posts here and I’ve shared a lot about my experience. I did have left foot done first just under 5 months ago. I feel so great. So happy I’m bunion free now! Good luck with your surgery!

Thank you Jessica! I've just looked at the photos of your left foot post op vs now and it looks like it has healed very nicely! I've seen some posts that had bad experiences about doing this so thank you for being one of the good news! Looking forward to my surgery! 🙂
