All done! I was admitted at the Fitzroy Hospital at 9.30.am. I had sedation and local anaesthetic. Mr Bianchi did minimally invasive surgery to remove the bunion on my right foot and the procedure was completely painless, just a lot of pulling about. He doesn't pin or use any hardware but the foot is bandaged in a special way and the bandages mustn't be removed or allowed to get wet for nearly 4 weeks.
