Anyone else deal with an ingrown toenail on your surgery foot?

Anyone else deal with an ingrown toenail on your surgery foot? I am 6.5 weeks PO and have one heck of an ingrown on my big toe. Does your foot dr take care of that? I am nervous to have it dug out, because that toe still hurts if it’s bumped or moved, but I don’t want to let it keep getting worse, either.

See a podiatrist as quickly as possible & if only to avoid infection.

Yes and mine got infected. I went to urgent care because my OS is far away. It took 10 min and I was good.

They removed the nail plate and let the infection heal on its own. They told me to let my nails grow longer and that took care of it.
