Finally had my hopefully last surgery.

Finally had my hopefully last surgery. This is now number 13. I had my surgery on Friday 9/11/2026. Surgery took a couple hours and recovery took a tiny bit longer than usual but it was just because I apparently wanted to sleep a bit more I was doing ok rest of Friday and they let me go home. When I got home the numbing block wore completely off. I had patches that the doctor wanted me to use. Well, I had it on but I for some reason could feel EVERYTHING post op. I was up all night trying to get the pain under control and now trying to get my itching under control too. I finally called the on call doctor and said I’m reacting to post op anesthesia and I looked like a cherry tomato on my face and chest. They had me come in. They asked me what meds I’m on. I told them the patch. Well I guess my surgeon was upset because they gave me the lowest dose of the patch and he said that isn’t going to help because of the extent of the surgery. (They reconstructed my big toe and second toe and did harvesting bone to my ankle). My histamine levels were so high and my pain level was a 10. My BP was 160/90. Podiatry stated that my foot is also very swollen and that can cause a lot more pain too. After 10 hours in the ER, 7 IV pokes and a whole mental breakdown, they got the BP down a little and meds running through me. I’m told to rest and avoid being on my foot too much.
