Has anyone been recommended a toenail brace to help flatten the nail?
Has anyone been recommended a toenail brace to help flatten the nail? I got a medical pedicure (for $210) and the lady said I should come back for a toenail brace to help flatten the nail. She also said I should massage the tip of the toenail everyday to help it grow out better. The cost for the brace is $370!! I don’t have money for that. The podiatrist I’m seeing has never mentioned a brace. Have any of you ever used a brace and had success?

Sounds like a money making scheme to me .
The braces do not really do anything in fact usually cause some pain. If it grows thick it's always going to grow thick so the best ways to dremel it flat
Go to see a nhs one see your doctor
The brace was never suggested and I’ve had several medical pedicures and they were $90.
After a month of Orievelle maybe a slight improvement at cuticle? Opinions please
U need to use a rotary tool.
Here is a free pincer toenail playlist where you can learn to fix it yourself. We have kits on our website with instructions to apply. Pincer or Trumpet Toenails Playlist
it’s called a medical pedicure. I honestly wasn’t that impressed
oh shoot I was hoping for something else! I’ve had a couple of medical pedicures and like you wasn’t impressed.
Massaging your toes is a good idea, just to keep them straight as you age. Amazon sells toes straighteners/braces for $10.
