Hello. Minimally invasive cheilectomy surgery was Monday the 12th. Was able to walk out to the car - total weight bearing. I was prepared for pain when the block wore off, but it never came. A little sore, but no pain. Been elevating and icing and sleeping with foot on top of pillows. I haven't driven yet but I can as the surgery was on my left foot. No exercise yet (this is the hardest - I am usually very active). But I am mobile and can climb the stairs and shower (with cast cover). The stitches come out on the 27th after 2 weeks and then can wear all my shoes. Why I chose this surgery? The WAY shorter recovery time is what got me on the table. I hope this helps you.

Hi there - feeling OK. No pain, just a little sore. I have no pics because the bandages are still on and will be until next Tuesday. Will definitely post then.
No screws. I don't believe they put anything in, they just took out a lot of bone puree.
Yes I do and had a fabulous surgeon. Will PM you.
thank you so very much.
