Hello beautiful, strong ladies I'm having surgery next Thursday to correct my hallux valgus (bunion), and I'd really appreciate hearing from anyone who's been through it. My surgeon told me he'll be using external wires (K-wires) to keep the bones in the correct position, and my foot will be in a cast for 6 weeks. Has anyone had this type of surgery? What was your recovery like? Do you have any tips for managing the first few week
