Hello people, I think im in the early stagis of hallux vagus. Runs in family. I walk/jog everyday which is triggering or speeding it. Anything i can do to move my toe back naturally?

(UK 🇬🇧 based) I had similar issue last year and I self referred to the nhs podiatrists service. I also saw a private one before my nhs appointment and they diagnosed the issue and taped underneath my foot to ease pain. Causes and treatment can be different for each individual case of course. The nhs gave me an insole that suited my needs and I had to take my footwear in. I’d bought extra wide fitting trainers and put the nhs insoles in them (Nike Pegasus) and I have no pain now and condition has now stopped been painful. I also stopped doing leg raises from sole of the foot which is been doing for rehab from a knee operation. Refrained from walking barefoot as suggested for 3-4 months ( even inside the house) Hope that helps.

Correct toes. These are toe spacers meant to be worn during exercise. Always great to prevent things from getting worse!

Hallux? Ridiculous, this is nothing to worry about. Ignore it.

I wanted to let you know that we sell a soft, sock-style bunion corrector on Amazon that has built-in gel padding. It’s designed to relieve pressure and reduce friction — especially when wearing shoes. If you’re open to trying it, I’d be happy to send you a free sample — no strings attached. If you find it comfortable, we’d simply love for you to share your honest experience. Let me know if you’re interested, and I can send you more details!
