Hi Everyone Not sure if anyone has an tips or adivse. I had an ingrown toenail after surgery (apparently the bandage etc can make it more likely) and the doctor thought a fungal infection too. I took the antibiotics etc and the infection definitly cleared up - but I have a horizontal crack the whole way along my big toe nail and it causes quite a bit of pain to be honest. I was really sure it was a hardware issue but they xrayed and said definitly not. So has anyone get any top tips for pain related to ingrown toenail /cracked nail? Thankyou!

The best thing you can do is cut it out, I have taken knives and scissors to my toenails to cut them out for years but they just grow back. They can put a medication on it to prevent it from coming back. The sooner you do it the better mine were so bad they needed stitches
