How quickly were you walking with a boot after surgery?

How quickly were you walking with a boot after surgery? I just went back to work today. Surgery was the 17th of December. I am a barber and just want to hear other people’s experiences. I feel like I’m one of those people that definitely pushes myself. Just want to make sure I’m not messing anything up by doing so. I mean the boot keeps me protected right? My Dr. knew I was going back to work. He just said to listen to my body
