I am 4 weeks post op and in need of a pedicure really bad. My doctor told me no submerging or soaking but would it be ok if I have them cut my toenails, clean them and paint them and not go near the surgical scar? They are so long

Its why I got a pedicure 2 days before surgery cause I knew it'd be awhile before id be able to get another one. Lol

lol my surgical place didn’t want any nail polish at all lol 😆 it was so sad

Can you cut them yourself? Easy enough to hold off on painting I would think, but that’s me who only paints on canvas. 😅

I did. They did a polish change for me. Didn’t touch incision at all. They wore gloves too! I did soak the other foot and get the full treatment!

I wouldn’t. They could accidentally cut you and you don’t want to risk any infection at this point.
