I am almost 4 weeks post op.

I am almost 4 weeks post op. I was non weight bearing for 3 weeks. I've been walking in my boot all around the house for the past 2 days. I even cooked dinner for the family tonight. It is nice to be able to some things again. Every night I ice and elevate just to relieve some swelling. I don't have any pain except for some nerve pain and my incision is still a little tender. Just wondering how long did other people feel the need to ice and elevate?
