I am disabled but desperately need advice. I’m sorry if I may have asked this question before but I need help with slippers. I stand up to just pull my lower clothes up and down to use the commode this is the only time I stand but my slipper’s are killing my feet so much I’m in agony. I wear Velcro fastening extra wide non slip slippers but after 3 days of wearing them they gradually started to feel tighter across the whole foot especially as I have a high instep. When I loosen the strap then the back of slipper goes to loose but around the toes they are too tight and literally burn my feet. I’m looking for non slip easy fastening slippers as I can’t go on like this. I woke up in terrible pain and my first thought was oh no I’ve got to put those torture slippers on. I haven’t worn shoes for a year as always worn slippers out. Please any advice I’m really desperate. Thanks See less

The running company shoe store is great. They help find good supportive shoes and you can take them home and if you don't like them you can return them. Find a shoe store if don't live in Lincoln, NE that sells good quality shoes and have them find you good supportive shoes. You are damaging your feet by not wearing good quality support shoes.

just joined so basically I’m disabled with my mobility but can walk with a Rollator. I have drop foot in both feet but for months I’ve had terrible pain in my feet mainly left one . It’s making my walking so unstable and I’ve already fallen and broke my Neck of femur. My feet hurt in bed and all day long . It can be all over or just the ankles and underneath the feet. I’ve tried braces from orthotics but they hurt too much. My Dr doesn’t do anything as I don’t tolerate meds so every night I put Deep Heat on my feet but that’s not helping either. I’m really fed up with as I have to have my husband walk behind me all the time encase I fall. Even when I’m in my wheelchair when I have to go outside my feet hurt so much that I now hate using my wheelchair. Sorry for the long post but I just don’t know what to do. Thanks See less
