I am just starting to think about surgery. Has anyone had the nanoplasty procedure done? This is the procedure my surgeon does. When you refer to MIB surgery, are there different techniques?

Six weeks ago I had percuplasty, which is a different MIS procedure. I’m doing great with this one. In 2025 I had Lapiplasty (not MIS). My newest surgery foot often feels better than the old one. Sure wish I would have done MIS. I think I could have.
Thank you for asking this! Im always wondering which procedures folks have had. I am scheduled for Nanoplasty on October 2, it has been described to me as minimally invasive surgery. 1 incision 1.5 centimeters two titanium screws used. Outpatient procedure weight bearing after surgery. Sounds all good to me but I’m still so anxious about it!
I would love to follow up with you about your experience once you have your surgery. How severe is your bunion?

From the research I did prior to my procedure, yes-there are different techniques. My procedure did not have a specific name other than minimally invasive. It required 3 pinhole incisions and no hardware/metal was used.
