I got wide toe box sneakers. Does anyone have suggestions for comfortable toe separators or toe socks I can wear with them? I wear the pictured separator socks to bed. I know I can’t correct my bunions these ways, but I’m hoping to stop the progression. Of course our cat got in the way of my picture, but I figured I won’t redo it. I know many people like cat and dog pictures (like me).

Are they advertising those adidas shoes as wide toe box? Do you think toe spacers will fit even though they are quite tapered in the toe area? (At least the adidas ones look tapered in the photo provided) To fit toe spacers, maybe check out some of these brands that are listed on Anya’s reviews?

These are the only things I wear! They probably do nothing but I find them comfortable

Over the years I’ve tried lots of off the shelf toe separators. Honestly once my podiatrist produced custom made silicone putty separators which she did rapidly during an appointment….there’s no comparison. They are so comfy. If you can I’d opt for these.
Those aren't wide toe box shoes. Look at Topo or Altra

I use the little foam ones. They're ok, they squish which probably isn't great but they feel better. The rubbery ones were a little too hard for me to tolerate.
This is the one I went with. I cut the last toe spacer off.
Toe separators don’t work

Yeah, I’ve learnt so much from Gaithappens too- thank goodness Dr Perez and Dr Conley share their expertise! It was a huge revelation to learn about toe splay space in wide toe box shoes only two or three years ago— but it is so logical and seems so obvious now. It’s kind of outrageous that since most of us are born with feet shaped like pizza slices that all footwear isn’t similarly shaped 🍕🍕 I have suffered over the years because of pointy toed footwear, like even my athletic shoes were pointy like Nike, Saucony, Reebok!And I feel like professionals should have directed me to wide toe box footwear much sooner when I sought help. It was someone on this group who first directed me to Altra Running Shoes and Topo Athletic Footwear, I’m very thankful for this community 🤗 Hopefully you get set up with some footwear and spacers that are good for your situation - good luck 🙂

I think so. I looked it up. I'm thinking about trying the one that goes between the big toe and second toe.

not specifically. But they do help with toe spacing and allowing your toes to move. I really like mine.
