I had a bunionectomy with a mid-foot fusion March 17th of 2023 problem is the the it's. It felt like it never healed even a year or so. After when I went back to the doctor I kept going back the surgeon and he just says it needs more time. It needs more time but never really was open or specific what that meant. It drove me nuts. Realization Saturday: For me tasks/chores I disliked doing before foot surgery now seem more disliked & still untouched even though I'm trapped home alone for 6 wks now Nwb (probably another 2+ more wks nwb)& really have nothing else better to do or can do let's put it that way..... Hence why I'm scrolling social media instead of looking at the crap in my living room,office, bedroom, kitchen I meant to go through because I have all the time in the world to do so...... I think I'll go soak my feet in the bathtub after this. Anything but the things staring me in the face that should have been done weeks ago.... See less

I am 8 day post surgery and right there with you. For me a struggle to get up and make food and wash dishes, etc. oiy. Just scrolling as you.

Beth Fowler Yeah, I didn’t realise how hard it would be to see all the things and not be able to do anything about it. Kind of torture, especially for this type A chick.
