I had a double bunionectomy 7 years ago where they broke both my big toes reset them and shaved off the bunions . I wonder if anyone else had had this done on this group and if their PF came back after along time ?

My oldest daughter had a double bunionectomy in 2018, about a year before she began nursing school. Her orthopedic surgeon had said that he had never seen a kid with bunions like that. The pain was brutal after the surgery, but she has had zero problems since she recovered and she is now a nurse practitioner and is on her feet all the time. She wears Hokas to work and is careful about what shoes she wears in her downtime. She doesn’t have any problems with her feet now.
that’s good to hear . I must admit I did struggle with the pain and not being able to walk for 11 weeks after surgery . I’ve had no pain for 7 years and now the PF has come back . I tried Skechers arch fit and they made my back spasm .
- Oh no! I’m so sorry that your pain has returned. I have been having back spasms for a few weeks now, so I’m wondering if this could be related to shoes that I am wearing. I’m so sorry that you are having this. It’s terrible. I’m glad you mentioned this though, because I wore boots a couple of times and now I’m wondering if that could be a reason for the back issues. They definitely hurt my feet. Praying that you find relief soon!
that could be a possibility with and the back spasms because since I’ve changed shoes the back spasms have gone . I hope you find a solution x
