I had a first MTP (metatarsophalangeal) joint fusion to permanently join the bones of the big toe, typically for severe arthritis (hallux rigidus) or sometimes severe bunions on Dec 19 still on scooter and boot no weight. This recovery is far worse than rotator cuff surgery i had 10 years ago. Is it because i'm older (70).
