I had bilateral chevron bunionectomies sept 2025. One failed, both toes now have severe post traumatic arthritis. Saw an orthopedic surgeon today, he is recommending big toe fusion on both feet (not both at once). For those who’ve had this, what was your experience? Could you heel walk right after surgery?
