I had bunion surgery eight months ago and now my big toe is slightly shorter than my second toe. It doesn’t hurt terribly when I walk, but I definitely notice a difference having a longer second toe is this normal? Am I supposed to be doing something about this or does it eventually go away? Sometimes I feel numbness. I’m a runner and the pad of my foot hurts for several days after a long run.
