I had lapiplasty and akin osteotomy on 1/15 of this year.

I had lapiplasty and akin osteotomy on 1/15 of this year. These were taken at my 6 week appointment. My great toe looks raised and almost rotated towards my pinky. Anybody else’s X-rays look similar? Maybe it improved over time and didn’t impact you in the long run?

we don’t use x-rays as gospel it matters what’s going on clinically so I would just give it some time

thank you, I will. My concern right now is the toe extension specifically for walking. I’m transitioning to shoes and I get pain there during the terminal stance phase on that right foot but maybe that’s just normal and I need to be patient. I want to get back to running, lunges and so on at some point but I know I need to give that a lot more time.

yeah I would again give it some time at this point and maybe get into physical therapy

Agree with Peter. Too early to tell. Start some therapy ?
