I had right foot surgery (tarsometatarsal and intercuneiform fusion, bunionectomy, metatarsal weil osteotomy) on November 3rd. I have been out of the boot since December 25th. It was my gift to myself! Ha! I had no idea healing would take this long! Currently doing toe yoga and stretches from the physical therapist, nerve therapy with my tens unit and scar repair using scar gel and silicone tape. My biggest challenge right now is the foot roll using steps. For those of you who have had similar surgeries (beyond a bunionectomy), what have you all been doing to heal post surgery/boot?
