I have an end stage bunion, so fusion of my toe is recommended.

I have an end stage bunion, so fusion of my toe is recommended. However, I seem to also have neuropathy on the inside of my heel on the same foot as bunion. I'm guessing the bunion is pinching off nerves to my heel. I can't get surgery till later this year due to unforeseen circumstances. Is there a nerve pain drug I can take to help me until then? TIA
