I have been diagnosed with tarsal coalition.

I have been diagnosed with tarsal coalition. And I was told either I could live with the pain for the rest of my life, or get the surgery I need, for a somewhat easier life. What’s rough is that I have dealt with the pain for years! Anyone else have a similar diagnosis of this? I have put the surgery off until I can make proper arrangements for everything thru the whole time from the day of surgery until I’m fully able to return to work!
