I have had plantar fascitis for 10 months now, which was diagnosed by ultrasound by my podiatrist.

I have had plantar fascitis for 10 months now, which was diagnosed by ultrasound by my podiatrist. The majority of my pain is felt in the arch with occasional heel pain, which I know is not the typical presentation. I have had 2 rounds of steroid pills, a steroid shot, and PT, and I've been doing strengthening exercises/stretches for several months, with no relief. My podiatrist is suggesting endoscopic plantar fascia release surgery.
