I’m 1 month post-op (33 days).

I’m 1 month post-op (33 days). Although I’ve been waiting for the dead skin to start shedding, I guess I wasn’t expecting it be this much. Especially since it wasn’t there last night!! I moisturize every morning w/coconut oil and at night w/vaseline. **NOT directly on my incision site, though, because it isn’t scab-free yet.** Then I apply my silicone socks for about 15 minutes before bed. Lynn Miller Prinz I am 5 weeks post op. The itching on the top of my foot and around my ankle is driving me crazy. I dont think it is dry skin as I've used lotion or Vaseline every day since my bandage was removed. I think it is nerves. Anybody else experience this? Thinking about asking doctor for gabapentin. Stephanie Vandersall Hello fellow bunion sufferers! I am 1 week post op today. I had distal chevron osteotomy. Generally doing ok though I seem to have hit a plateau in my pain swelling and wanted to see if that’s normal. The first couple days post surgery were rough - nerve block wearing off and mostly nerve pain. Had my first post op appointment on day 2 with X-ray and bandage change and doctor said all looked great. Now, as long as my foot is elevated and I have an ice pack I am pretty comfort
