I walked on my foot too much after bunionectomy and the pin poked through the bottom of my foot. Developed wound infection. Hospitalized for I&D surgery and 5 days for IV antibiotics. Discharged with PICC line to continue IV antibiotics at home for 6 weeks. Again walked on foot too much and swollen and incisions don't look good. Stupid!?! Self-willed, noncompliant, foolish.
