I went over my MRI results with my doctor today. My right foot has pain, numbness and tingling. A small spur but not a lot of Plantar facitis. We discussed the possibility of Tarsel tunnel. To help with the diagnosis he gave me a lidocaine shot in the nerve to anesthestize it. If my pain went away it's a good indication of Tarsel tunnel. Guess what? It went away! So next step is a nerve conduction study and possibly surgery. Has anyone had this surgery?
