In December 2024 I had a Scarf, Akin, 2nd toe Osteotomy.
In December 2024 I had a Scarf, Akin, 2nd toe Osteotomy. In September 2025 I had a pseudo-arthroplasty 2nd toe MTP joint with K-wire plus screws removed (staple still in). In May 2026 offered amputation of 2nd toe as it again has travelled over the big toe. Pain on ball of foot, cannot stand or walk on hard ground, ok in soft shoes. Anyone had their 2nd toe removed? How are you now, any complications?
