Is $2000 to lay 1200 sq ft lvp Deal or no Deal?

Don’t judge, but i have a guy that does side work and does it for $1.50 sq/ft. He is 30+ years in the business and his work is immaculate. He shows up when he says he will and he doesn’t touch drugs or alcohol. Only stipulation is I pay him in cash and rooms are completely cleared out prior to install. Seems like a fair request considering the value i’m receiving.

Wide open space, chopped up spaces? All makes a big difference when pricing a job for me. I find it hard to believe that customers want or installers give one generic square foot price.
