It’s just been over 4 months since my MIS surgery and plantar plate repair to the second toe, but I still get discomfort ( mainly under 3rd and fourth metatarsal) if I walk for further than 1 km - sometimes less. The surgeon says it is scar tissue and it will dissipate in time . I also can feel a hard nodule on the outside of the foot (big toe side), and I think it’s the pin
