My toenail was ingrown and I tried to get it out but I don’t feel relief.
My toenail was ingrown and I tried to get it out but I don’t feel relief. I don’t know if I got it out. I don’t know if it’s still irritated from me picking at it the last couple of days, but any help is greatly appreciated. I would go to the foot doctor but I don’t have health insurance at this time.

Soak in epsom salt and warm water, as warm as you can tolerate morning and evening
If you don’t have epsom just substitute salt until you do
I recommend that you choose a good pair of insoles to minimize the damage to your feet, which is beneficial to you
Soak your foot in Epsom salt Slide dental floss beneath the toenail to life the corners out Trim nail
okay I’m going to have to try that. I’ve had issues since I broke this toe with ingrown nails. My heels also crack really bad - even with wearing good socks and good shoes. I’ll try the insoles- thank you!!
I can’t even get dental floss out there — should I just wait for it to grow a little?
Let it grow out a little. Picking at it will INCREASE your risk of infection 🥺
okay is it bad if there’s like pus at the top? I’m keeping it clean but it still kinda hurts
Pus is infection. You should not ignore it.
yeah unfortunately I don’t have any insurance so I guess I’ll just have to clean it and find the source 🤷♀️
