Ok “is this normal” another question…..2 weeks post op exactly. I have a pin sticking out of my toe. Anyway, it was a big day going back to work, but foot in tingly and the toe is totally numb. The only thing I can feel is the pain. Is this normal?

When does the pin come out and why is it there? I had the same surgery with no pin...

I am 18 days post op and I still have tingling and numbness although it is improving every day

I’m learning that there are multiple ways that this surgery is done. The pin comes out in 6 weeks after the surgery. It’s in there to realign the toe that has become deformed over the years.

Haven't had surgery myself, but I imagine you've not been able to elevate your feet bc of going back to work. The swelling can push on nerves and cause more numbness and pain. Possibly overdoing?
