Please can someone who has been in this situation advise me. Seen surgeon x rays show bunion but arthritis quite bad in big toe. He advises fusion which initially I thought ok I'd go along with. Now I'm having doubts. I don't wear stilettos or massive heels but I do like my shoes and knowing I'll never be able to wear more than 2cm heels or have to wear ghastly ( in my opinion) wedges is really bothering me.
