So I'm having my bunionectomy Wednesday morning...

So I'm having my bunionectomy Wednesday morning... and I'm getting nervous now. I'm going to move my bedroom around so I have plenty of space for my knee scooter and commode (for the first few days at least). Is there ANYTHING else that one might never think of that'll make this experience easier/quicker,besides staying off of it and elevating with ice packs , or ice slippers ...(the lady who made that product known in here,Thank you! ) I know i shouldn't even be thinking of Alyssha Estrela Anyone have a good scar cream /remedy for their bunion scar? Nina Bromham Has anyone had success delaying the progress of a bunion? I’m guessing no one has reversed a bunion without surgery but has anything you’ve used helped? Is there a FB group that provides advice on this? Thanks! Carly Campkin I'm almost ready to cut off my own bunion. Thats how much pain I'm in. I've been waiting over 3 years for surgery (my right foot is worse). Anyone got any pain relief suggestions? Thank you Katie Dickerson How hard was it to get around after surgery. I live alone with 3 dogs. I am so worried about it! I read somewhere that you CAN put weight on it some, but the surgeon says NO. Miranda Smith Tomorrow it will be 29 days since my op. Not seen my surgeon since we were in theatre, fought for a telephone consultation which is tomorrow teatime. Would like your any oponion on wounds and my progress. Still very sore, big toe and the next one is still very painful, quite stuff and with very little movement. Would like opinions on wounds, still walking with boot and one crutch hurts to walk with full weight on operated foot, is all this normal?
