I had bunionectomy and lapidus of right foot in Jan 2025, the bunion came back within 6 months. The surgeon did not address meta tarsal adductus,and fused my first metatarsal and cuneiform joint without my consent. After going through pain from hardware I went to different surgeon and they have removed most of the hardware removed except the large screw that was used for fusing the first metatarsal and second cuneiform joint.
