Those of you who have opted for toenail removal (in the US), did you your podiatrist do the removal or was there a referral to a surgeon? I think I'm going to have to go that route, and just wondering where to start.

They do it in office. I have been looking for a surgeon because I can't do local anesthetic

Ive done both office and OR based toenail removals. If you absolutely can’t take the local anesthesia for whatever reason, your podiatrist should be able to do it in the OR.
