Today is 10 days post bilateral scarf and akin maestro osteotomies with distal soft tissue release needed on both feet to allow each big toe to sit flat. Right foot incision is a teeny bit inflamed at one end (likely owing to the super hot weather we’ve been having in the UK with no aircon - my home was up to 32°C indoors today ), so I’m now on antibiotics. Usually the bandages wouldn’t come off until two weeks after surgery but my surgeon is on a course and then on vacation— feeling happy.
