Advise on best sneakers with arch support and favorite sandals that look ok?

Advise on best sneakers with arch support and favorite sandals that look ok? Lynn Meister Mueller I have noticed that anytime I wear sneakers my toes get numb but I'm ok wearing anything else. I love walking and walk 3-4 miles. Does anyone have a shoe to recommend that is good to walk those distances but isn't a sneaker? Thank you so much for your responses I really appreciate the insight! Been lurking a while but this is my first post. I am looking for advice but I have a little backstory first. When I was elementary/middle school aged I was diagnosed with severe bunions. Walking around school was painful. I had surgery in 8th/9th grade (one foot at a time) to fix them. Got three pins in each foot. Now I'm 30 years old and they are coming back.
