I’m so tired and frustrated by this constant pain. Started in May and I can’t walk without pain every single time my right foot touches the ground. I tried 7 sessions of shockwave therapy. I tried a few sessions of laser. I’ve had ongoing massage. I’ve bought custom orthotics that hurt my feet more than helping. I’ve stretched, I’ve rolled my foot on a frozen water bottle. My calf muscles are so tight, and I swear they weren’t bef Lori Carrasquillo Hello, well today I started physical therapy for PT and I am feeling like I can do the four exercises that were given to me at home, I really hope this won’t be a waste of my time, anyone here, have you tried physical therapy?? Rebecca Hatfield-Haines Just invested in a pair of Brooks Launch shoes. The sales lady at the store was wearing them and she said they had helped her PF. Other than my ingrown toe nails, they are feeling good. I just have some foot fatigue from not normally wearing structured shoes to now wearing more structured shoes. Anyone else have these and find them helpful? Rebecca Hilliard I’m hoping I don’t have to row back on this but I feel I’ve had a result….I’ve just spent 2+ weeks completely resting. And I mean really resting. I know I’m lucky to have the chance to do that but I’ve been able to do fewer than 500 steps a day. I did the strengthening exercises (plus some for hips/thighs) multiple times a day. I always had an arch support on when walking barefoot (big band of elastic with arch pad). Julie Mendell Lumpkin Hi, fellow PF warriors! I’m a few months into this, am in PT and am doing the calf stretches/strengthening and balance and foot exercises. My pain is bearable in my Birkenstocks, but, unfortunately, I can’t wear them at work or in my volunteer position. My PF pain is the worst in supportive shoes (Altras) with my Powerstep insert. I must have a wide toe box, so some shoes are not workable for me. Has anyone else experienced this? Marta Tkaczyk-Soliwoda Looking for insole recommendations for plantar fasciitis. I’ve had plantar fasciitis in my left foot for nearly 2 months now and also have quite severe heel pain. I’ve tried all sorts of insoles that have been recommended for PF, but unfortunately most of them have quite a strong arch support. I really struggle with this because the arch support presses into my arch and actually causes more pain rather than helping. I’ve also tried gel/silicone heel cups, but unfortunately these Kelly Townsend What are everyone’s opinions about being barefoot/wearing footwear indoors? Iv had flat feet pain and planta in both feet now for a year. Doing the exercises, customised orthotics and now they’d like me to do shockwave therapy. I’m a bit hesitant about that as some people have said it’s made their pain worse and I’m trying to see what else I can do to help. Iv looked into getting a foot sleeve, calf massager, multivitamins ect and 11 hours ago 12 hours ago 12 hours ago 13 hours ago 14 hours ago 14 hours ago Learn More 17 hours ago 18 hours ago 18 hours ago 19 hours ago 19 hours ago 19 hours ago 21 hours ago 22 hours ago a day ago
