Day 6 - going great Today I have had no pain meds at all Still talking Celebrex morning and night Every now and again I get these weird feelings through my foot, like a cramp coming The knee scooter is incredible and I can do everything- except cleaning I’m elevating almost 23hrs a day

mainly my 2nd claw toe. It was so painful as the bunion had got worse . For the last 6mths I could no longer wear shoes anymore only runners

Hammertoe was my last straw too, no shoes other wide slip ons were feasible. Plus the horrid 3D bunion deformation, did not realize this until I finally had x-rays.

yes, the bone moved down, out, and rotated too. My doc was very frank in telling me that my feet were a mess. I don’t remember ever not having bunions. Last year, the pain underneath my foot and hammertoe flared. First visit to a professional at the tender age of 58😂 Some of us don’t want to initiate surgery, this surgery is especially hard on mobility, pain, restrictions. Just thinking of a second foot surgery is something I need to manage mentally.

Awesome!! Those weird feelings happened to me a few weeks. It felt like my foot muscles would all tighten and then relax. Keep elevating and resting. This stage will soon be a memory.
