Did anyone have a bunion arthrodesis instead of the other types of bunion surgery?
Did anyone have a bunion arthrodesis instead of the other types of bunion surgery? I had a lot of arthritis in my first MTP joint, in addition to a bunion, hammertoe and neuroma. So, arthrodesis is the procedure of choice for arthritis in the MTP joint. All three were addressed during my surgery. I’m curious about your recovery path and how soon you were allowed to run, play tennis, etc. I was told 3 months.
